The Hand and The Eye

The Hand & The Eye is a five-story, 36,000-square-foot experiential venue housed within Chicago's historic McCormick Mansion, steps from the Magnificent Mile. Backed by a $50 million investment from healthcare entrepreneur Glen Tullman, the project brings together seven performance spaces, drawing rooms, parlors, and secret passageways across a building with a layered past, a 1930s casino, a puppet theater, and nearly four decades as Lawry's restaurant. The architect was Rockwell Group, led by Chicago native David Rockwell. The venue opened to the public on April 18, 2026.

Forge served as Owner's Representative on behalf of the ownership, conducting upfront due diligence and monitoring the project from the start of construction through the turnover of the core and shell for tenant build-out.
